- Assist in the recruiting process which includes composing job postings and ads, posting positions online, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, coordinating background checks, pre-employment drug screens, physical examinations, and writing and sending offer letters.
- Develop applicable reports and data dashboards to report recruiting data to leadership.
- Assist in coordinating college recruiting by organizing and participating in career fairs, club events and other activities.
- Conduct orientation for new hires with includes I-9's, required paperwork, policy review, benefits, etc.
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
- Ability and willingness to learn company policies, procedures, products, and services.
- Knowledge of human resource practices and procedures and basic employment law.
- Ability to learn and communicate company benefits and relocation programs.
- Skill in interviewing, negotiating, presentation, and oral and written communication.
- Effective listening skills.
- Skill in maintaining employment files and other records.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.

Our company has become one of the largest soybean processing cooperatives in the world and our plants process soybeans that can be used in a variety of products such as animal feed, vegetable oil, and fuels.
AGP is seeking a temporary HR Coordinator in Omaha, NE. This position will have temporary responsibilities that include recruitment, new employee onboarding, pre-employment, employment data/reporting and benefits in addition to assisting with other key department responsibilities.
The duration of this temporary assignment will be from start date (June 2024) for about 4-6 months. This position is on-site, reporting into the office Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. The hourly rate will be commensurate with experience.
