In this exceptional opportunity, you will join the esteemed obstetric team at Hartford Hospital. Our Labor and Delivery unit serves as a high-risk referral center for the area, performing approximately 4,000 deliveries annually. We evaluate more than 3,000 patients per year in our Obstetric Triage unit.

As part of a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, residents, and attending physicians,you will utilize your advanced clinical reasoning skills to provide seamless care to our patients. You will report directly to the OB/GYN Hospitalist Director.

The Advanced Practitioner's role involves caring for patients across our Obstetric service line,caringfor those admitted or being triaged.You may assist on Labor and Delivery with admissions,magnesium sulfate checks,and labor checks when needed.in addition rounding evaluating antepartum patiens working closely with residentas.Where applicable evaluation includes concerns regarding labor,elevated BP,infection-or medication orders.Helping with biophysical profiles(BPPs)for non-reactive NSTsand limited obstetric ultrasounds.Is involved in typical postpartum care rounding discharge planning coordination of inpatient consults responding elevated blood pressures postpartum or postoperative concerns medication reconciliation placement of Nexplanon.If required by virtue Of needs providing preterm/term labour assess ruptured membranes bleed,responds concerning preganency complaints has allways an assigned back up official staying aligned appropriate examents schedued:
