    The Compliance Director is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day effectiveness of CHLA's Compliance Program. Act as a key stakeholder in the enterprise-wide Compliance strategy.

    Subject-matter expert on compliance topics by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and by writing and reviewing applicable internal policies and procedures.

    Oversight of the design and delivery of Compliance Program education and training.
    Minimum Qualifications: 7 or more years of experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, quality control or finance preferred. Experience in the hospital environment preferred.

    Education/Licensure/Certifications:
    Bachelor's degree required; Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) required.

    Alternatively, obtainment of a law degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association and prior experience as a licensed attorney providing healthcare regulatory compliance advice and counsel are acceptable.
