    Semmes Murphey Clinic's mission is to deliver the best care for people suffering from neurological illnesses while advancing the field of neuroscience.

    We are currently seeking an experienced
    Part Time X-Ray Technician to join our team. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Your role will be crucial in helping our medical team diagnose and treat patients accurately.

    We are looking for someone who can:

    • Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients
    • Ensure patient safety by following all radiation safety protocols
    • Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images
    • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
    • Collaborate with medical team to determine next steps for patient care
    • Perform routine maintenance, diagnosis malfunction, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed
    Requirements

    • Completion of a recognized Xray Technician program
    • Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
