    What you'll

    Get To Do:
    CACI has an immediate opening for a Linux Senior Systems Administrator, with a Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI) and polygraph, on our corporate development/test network and fielded systems
    This position will be physically located in Sarasota, FL
    In this position, the individual will work under general direction and will assist the program by developing and incorporating new plans, designs, and components into systems in ongoing operations
    You will also evaluate new system design alternatives that consider life-cycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk and expansion capability in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
    You will be accountable for the technical integrity of work performed and the deliverables associated with your assigned systems
    Additionally, you will identify and communicate risks to cost and schedule and determine alternate courses of action, workarounds, and risk mitigations at appropriate milestones using prior experience and assessing Earned Value Management (EVM) data from the Control Account Manager (CAM), as needed
    Finally, you will help to improve standard integration strategies and best-practice knowledge based upon the rationale for improved integration performance
    Some Continental US and International travel may be required, up to 10%, as well as surge support

    More About the Role:

    Participate in system design, hardware and software integration/configuration, documentation, system hardening, testing, and delivery that meets the functional requirements of the system

    Perform fault-isolation of ground-based satellite system hardware and software working with various stakeholders to reach resolution

    Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan

    Conduct and participate in peer-review of system designs to ensure the system meets the technical requirements and conforms with established technical standards

    Requires an ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and Government representatives at various levels of the company and work collaboratively with others in a team environment

    Regularly works to achieve operational objectives within the job area with direct impact on department results

    Support ongoing operations and sustainment by providing Tier 4 support for deployed systems You'll

    Bring These Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 10 years Linux Systems Administration experience
    Additional experience may be substituted for degree

    A current TS/SCI with a CI Poly is required to start, FS Poly preferred

    Advanced knowledge and experience in system administration processes including at least one, however more preferred, of the following certifications: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP

    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines

    Extensive system administration experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux OS

    Experience with Scripting languages (e.g
    Perl, Bash, etc.)

    OS and Software application patching (e.g
    IAVA, Version updates)

    Experience with containerization

    Experience with Ticket tracking tools (e.g
    Jira, Confluence)

    Experience building and configuring Virtual Machines (VMs)

    You also will support ISSO and ISSE in obtaining and maintaining security certification and accreditation

    Experience with configuring Cisco network switch hardware, VLANs, and perform troubleshooting

    Must be willing to meet all customer requirements to facilitate system installation at a DoD facility

    Experience with virtualization such as VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, or KVM

    Experience with network attached storage (NAS) or equivalent shared storage systems

    Experience with installing and configuring server hardware (HP, Dell)
