**Description**
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the sorting and distribution of all raw materials to production. The position is physical and requires repeated bending, twisting, stretching and heavy lifting, as well as standing on your feet, throughout the course of an entire shift. Daily accuracy of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability. Additional responsibilities include housekeeping and adherence to health and safety standards.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Maintaining forklifts in top condition with daily checklist.
Load Raw Materials (Lumber and Nails) to Hand Nailers or Nailing Machine
Maintaining raw materials, finished goods yard clean and organized.
Work with management on inventory daily cycle count to ensure raw materials and finished goods inventory match SAP.
Assemble all orders per work order specification.
Good human relations and oral/written communication skills
Familiarity with computers running under SAP, Windows operating systems, and using Microsoft office, (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Must be punctual with good attendance and safety habits and be effective working as a member of a team.
Follow and Maintain Fruit Growers Supply / United Wholesale Lumber Company quality polices
Note: Duties are not limited to the list above, job duties may vary depending on work load and helping teammates in other departments as needed.

Attend weekly safety meetings
Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself or endanger the wellbeing of others.
Report all injuries, near misses, unsafe acts and property damage to the Supervisor
**Miscellaneous Tasks**
Follow all clean up procedures ensuring safety of oneself and others around you
Report to maintenance any forklift issues with oil spills, leaks and anything that may appear to be loose or broken.
Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision
Keep yard area free of debris
Responsible for Daily, Weekly and Monthly housekeeping duties
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**
High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
Lumber industry experience preferred
Inventory and Cycle Count preferred
SAP preferred
Class C Driver License (Required)
Forklift Certified (Required)
