- Responsible for the consistent application of Human Resources (HR) activities (i.e. employment, compensation, annual reviews, benefits, training, team member relations and safety).
- Responsible for benefit plan interpretation, communication, and enrollment including the standard benefits package and retirement plans.
- Coordinates and communicates team member programs (i.e. team member of the quarter, service awards, MITER Foundation, team member engagement activities, etc.)
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepares necessary documentation for team member onboarding, termination, resignation, etc. Conducts exit interviews.
- Conduct training for supervisors and managers on wide variety of topics to help increase their leadership effectiveness. Partner with supervisors and managers to assist with succession planning of hourly workforce.
- Provide support to the location's Safety program including managing Workers Compensation, injury prevention and injury response.
- Investigate team member complaints and assist and support supervisors and managers with addressing performance and misconduct issues.
- Contribute to efficient staffing and onboarding of the location to reduce overtime, achieve high level of operational efficiency and team member retention.

- You must have a minimum of four years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing operation.
- Must have a strong results orientation while being collaborative and customer focused in your approach.
- Four-year degree, preferably in HR, business, or related discipline. Broad knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, NLRA, state specific regulations, etc.)
- SPHR or PHR preferred.

MITER Brands also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are currently looking for a Swing Shift Human Resources Generalist for our Fife, Washington manufacturing plant.In this role you will work with the Senior HR Manager to support a 400 plus-team member facility through training/development, performance management, benefits communication, and team member relations. This all-important position will report to Senior HR Manager and work with Operations leadership in Safety-related activities to ensure injury prevention, regulatory compliance and, most importantly a 100% safe workplace for our team members.Strong candidates will have a minimum of four years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Pay Range: 72k - 92k, depending on experience
