    Our rehabilitation services and professional staff provide the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities.

    Sign-On Bonuses for DSP (If applicable):
    $1,200 for full-time positions 40 hours per week (terms apply)

    • 600 for part-time positions 32 hours per week (terms apply)
    • 400 for PRN positions minimum 32 hours per calendar quarter (terms apply)
    • 00 an hour (RC) 2nd shift
    * $20/hour (PRN) +shift differential for weekends.

    Direct Support Professionals:
    1st Shift, Sunday through Thursday (40 Hours) 8 AM- 4 PM
    2nd Shift, Friday through Monday (32 Hours) 4 PM- 12 AM
    3rd Shift, Friday through Monday (32 Hours) 12 AM- 8 AM
    PRN-On-Call/As needed- weekday daytime and weekend overnight shifts available

    This position is responsible for assisting with the therapeutic implementation and documentation of consumer treatment activities. Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans, treatment activities, case conferences, etc.

    • Consistently assess, teach, evaluate, and supervise consumer's skills in the area of daily living, meal planning, housekeeping, vocational, social and recreational needs.
    • Assist and supervise consumers in the planning, initiation and participation of social and recreational activities.
    • Monitor kitchen, housekeeping and linen supplies for consumer's and keep supervisor informed of needs.
    • Participate in staff meetings and training programs.
    • Participate in supervision on an on-going basis.
    • Adhere to agency/site policies and procedures.
    • Project a positive attitude and image to clients, family members and outside contacts.
    • Cooperate with other staff and exhibit positive attitude toward position and agency mission.
    • Display motivation and interest in working creatively with people who have disabilities.
    • Possess knowledge of basic principles and methods of rehabilitation.
    • Provide casework services to aid residents in adjusting to their specific situations.
    • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including assisting with maintenance of the kitchen, common areas, linen closets, medication storage areas, and staff office.
    • Take regular responsibility in shift activities, including but not limited to site trash removal, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning common areas which include but are not limited to the living room, kitchen, foyer, dining area, and hallways.
    • Assist or prepare various foods for consumer meals as required. Food shopping must be completed and dietary preferences/concerns will need to be considered.
    • Locate and access community medical resources for consumer needs as applicable and as instructed.
    • Supervise and assist with consumer medication regiment including PRN medications.
    • Perform occasional administrative activities, including but not limited to filing, copying, compilation, and collation of paperwork.
    • Assist consumers with personal care needs including assisting/encouraging consumers with daily showers, tooth brushing and other hygienic activities, eating meals, getting dressed, mobility issues, etc.
    • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
    Attends and participates in regular supervision.

    • Participates in staff meetings and training programs.
    • Adheres to agency/site policies and procedures including HIPAA requirements.
    • Projects a positive attitude and image to staff, participants, family members, and outside contacts.
    • Displays motivation and interest in working creatively with people who have mental illness/disabilities.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of basic principles and methods of clinical psychology and psychiatric rehabilitation.
    • Cooperates with other staff and exhibit positive attitude toward position and agency.
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Field of study: Human Services or related field
    Work Experience: 1 to 2 years

    • Certifications, Licenses,

    Registrations Required:
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

    • Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
    • Knowledge of basic principles and methods of rehabilitation required.
    • Motivation, interest and ability to work empathetically with people with disabilities, specifically transition age consumers.
    • Must be able to write and speak English in an understandable manner.
    • Ability to prepare meals, perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties required.
    • Ability to make sound judgments regarding the health/welfare of consumer required.
    • Ability and willingness to drive agency van required.
