- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years technical experience or academic research
- Proficiency in using optical microscopes, SEM, FTIR equipment.
- Experience with various forms of electrical testing and visual inspection including automated vision systems
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable with multitasking
- Must possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint...
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience writing complex MS Access queries
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software; Minitab, JMP, SAS...
- Ability to collaborate with all facets of the Night Vision organization

Job DescriptionThe main functions of this positions are: Oversees the testing and evaluation of electro-optical devices; Optimizes visual test equipment/methods such as a scanning electron microscope, FTIR, and other analytical tools for defect analysis. Works with R&D and Manufacturing Engineering for defect analysis, new product development and process improvement. Works in cross functional team setting to minimize or eliminate quality and delivery problems.
