    Position: Account Manager- U.S. Film & Series

    Location: Los Angeles, CA.

    Position Summary:

    DDA is seeking a confident, strategic, and highly organized Account Manager- U.S. Film & Series to help bolster the team, which operates across offices in LA and NYC. This is a mid-level role suited to someone with seasoned agency experience in film/series publicity and industry strategy. You'll have the ability to drive high-impact campaigns across film, television, and streaming, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from studios, independents and streamers to filmmakers and talent.

    You will support in shaping and executing comprehensive campaign strategies, cross-functional teams, and maintain DDA's gold-standard reputation.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with talent, talent reps, producers, filmmakers, executives and media. You should be strategic, creative, and passionate about cinema and have deep strong relationships within the industry. Able to lead accounts and support clients / projects in terms of day-to-day activities and develop and execute overall campaign strategy. Also able to provide press releases, media materials, presentations, budgets, and other documents as required.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Bolster the domestic film & series team in the U.S., collaborating across offices in LA and NYC.
    • Strong leader.
    • Provide expert counsel to clients on positioning, timelines, and industry landscape.
    • Responsible for project outcomes and managing junior employee work throughout campaign duration.
    • Support in reviewing all campaign strategies, press releases and media campaigns to ensure on-point communications.
    • Provide ongoing strategic counsel to all clients.
    • Respond to new client directives and expectations.
    • Ensure that all responses to journalists and media inquiries are on-campaign.
    • Support refining new business pitches.
    • Present campaign strategy and executional plan to clients.
    • Experience working with film festivals and willingness to travel.
    • 2-3 days in-office/week. *Subject to change*

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    • BS/BA in Public Relations, Communications, or relevant field.
    • You must have at least 5-7 years' relevant experience in domestic Film/Series PR strategy.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting a wider team. Previous experience managing junior level employees, carrying out appraisals and assisting with their progression at DDA.
    • Professional, leader, team player, proactive, and personable demeanor.
    • Self-motivated, self-starter, takes initiative and follows through.
    • Effective listening, strong verbal and written communications skills.
    • Strong organizational, time management skills, and work ethic.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Strategy: Highly organized, analytical thinker with a sharp eye for creative campaign execution.
