Under the direction and supervision of a radiologist/physician, performs all procedures within the Diagnostic section of Radiology in the Medical Imaging Department.
Observes all radiation safety guidelines and performs any other duties which assist in the provision of quality patient care according to the mission and values of the hospital.
Successful completion of an AMA approved training program in radiologic technology and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Advanced schooling/ credentialing and certification are required to advance into areas of echocardiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography. Advanced study and certification preferred to advance to CAT SCAN, MRI and special procedures.Approximately one to two years experience necessary in order to become familiar with equipment and procedures.
Shift
Full-time, 11a-7:30p, every other weekend
