    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Document Services Supervisor to join our client's dynamic information technology organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer operations, programming, technical support, or document management systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports applications for all customers that use DMS. Executes, tests, and implements DMS with all changes, additions and/or deletions. Provides input to daily turnover logs. Provides alternatives and solutions to operational problems and process inefficiencies. Compiles inquiries from internal and external customers. Notifies IT staff of any errors which prevent document set-up. Coordinates with technical support and/or vendor to resolve problems.
    • Supervises all production activities and projects to ensure efficient workflow continuity and timely completion of shared responsibilities. Monitors and manages system utilization to prioritize and resolve request conflicts. Monitors the security of processes and resolves Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability violations in relation to processes.
    • Maintains metrics and reporting of physical print data and supporting technology.
    • Executes and maintains metrics for development of measuring the department's effectiveness.
    • Maintains knowledge of document management software and best practices to ensure an environment responsive to user requirements. Develops and maintains internal document security for the DMS. Maintains access list within the DMS database for secured reports. Updates and communicates document distribution changes for archiving. Assigns retention dates to all archived data per customer request and compliance. Monitors archive database space allocations.
    • Coordinates and supports daily documentation administration such as mail merges and automation activities.
    • Conducts user training for internal and external customers who would use DMS.
    • Mentors Digital Document Services (DDS) staff to encourage personal development in document management.
    • Remains aware of the status of all document completions and activities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but will consider collective experience, training and education.
    • 3 years progressively responsible work experience in computer operations, programming, technical support, and document management systems.
