    Set on 52 acres of beautiful woods, trails, fields and aquatic areas of the Cleveland Metro parks, the Achievement Centers for Children's Camp Cheerful offers campers all the traditional camp activities including, hiking, arts and crafts, nature activities, games, campfire activities, music, sports, and so much more Come help make memories for you and the campers

    We are currently recruiting for Residential Camp Counselors for the summer season (June 10-August 9th). Residential Camp Counselors provide high quality primary care and support for the campers. Must be 18 years of age. Minimum of one year of experience working with children. Previous camp experience with children with disabilities a plus. Requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.

    • Compensation is $475 per week. Can be a paid student internship if your school/college allows
    • Hours: Sunday evening through Friday morning
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Previous camp experience, or experience with children with disabilities is a plus, but not a requirement
    • All training provided at no cost --CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
    • Crisis prevention and intervention certification provided at no cost.
    • We serve a wide range of disabilities including cognitive, physical, developmental and neurological.
