    Alliant Cybersecurity is seeking a Cybersecurity Business Development Associate to be based in Houston, TX to help expand its Cybersecurity and Risk Advisory practice. In this role, you will be responsible for educating customers and clients about cybersecurity software or information security systems and solutions. This role requires a knowledge of Information Security programs, including IT Security Strategy, IT Security Operations, Security Training and Awareness, IT General Controls Compliance and Audit Management, IT Forensics, Identity, and Access Management, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and IT Risk.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of professional work experience.
    • Sold or consulted on IT solutions.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Collaborative nature.
    • Exceptional closing skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
    • Must have the ability to adapt to change daily.
    • Phenomenal critical thinking skills to determine the best solution out of multiple "correct" options.
    • Accustomed to challenging quota attainment and new client acquisition.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • May require working both traditional and non-traditional hours.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
    Responsibilities:
    • Present compelling business cases to c-suite buyers, ideally, in mid-market accounts.
    • Evaluate and document customer technical needs; Ideally, relating to IT security.
    • Sell complex security solutions. Ideally in cyber intelligence and analytics, critical infrastructure, global managed security services, threat and risk Intelligence, vulnerability management, identity and access management, governance risk, and compliance, or security & network architecture.
    • Contribute to strategy/planning sessions and presentations.
    • Manage the retention of customers and the ongoing client experience.
    • Maintain customer strategy and direction while collaborating with internal teams, leveraging sales tools such as Salesforce.
    • Contribute to problem-solving sessions with the project team, consulting team, and client representatives on a regular basis.
