    What you'll do

    Collaborate with other scientists responsible for the development of new machine learning models and optimization of existing ML models.

    Core tasks may include:

    • Taking ownership of machine learning research/project and collaborating with development teams with all aspects around AI algorithms
    • Designing and implementing novel machine learning algorithms to process real data
    • Applying recent research breakthroughs to real problems to create business value
    • Ensuring explainability and ethical integrity of AI algorithms

    About You

    • Recent graduate with a master's or Ph.D. degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of developing productive machine learning-based solutions and/or systems (design, coding, testing, quality assurance) is required:
    • Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Information Retrieval & Extraction, and Recommendation Systems
    • Knowledge of Python and machine learning software packages such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow, PyTorch
    • Experience working with very large datasets in distributed Linux/Unix environments is preferred

    Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
