- Three or more years of software engineering experience
- Experience partnering with cross-functional engineering and product teams
- Exposure to Python or Node/Typescript, AWS Lambda, and API gateway in a production scenario
- Hands-on experience in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment (Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent) is ideal
- Familiar with GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security is preferred but not required
- Ability to troubleshoot to establish a go-forward solution
- Negotiation, facilitation and consensus-building capabilities
- Openness and adaptability to respond to fast-moving circumstances

The Software Delivery team in Secure DevOps Platforms is hiring a Security focused Software Engineer/SecDevOps to help lead the evolution of our secure coding and delivery practices within Liberty Mutual. This position will be a member of our Secure Developer Experience team, leading the adoption of secure delivery practices across the LM developer community. This includes our policy as code framework that ensures secure and compliant deployments to our cloud runtimes, elimination of sensitive data in our source code and application runtimes, and efficient detection and resolution of vulnerabilities. You will work to help identify, educate, and instruct teams in adopting these frameworks and practices.
