    In this first role, you will be on the front line with our most important customers managing these accounts.

    Michelin is looking for goal-oriented sales leaders to develop and grow relationships with key customers in the Region and convert this into increased sales, margin, and profit.


    We would like for our sales leaders to be based in Greenville, SC or for a few years in another regional location.

    In order to be close to our customers and establish strong relationships, you will be required to travel approximately 35% of the time.

    What You'll Do

    As part of a North American sales team, you will lead a portfolio with key customers across North America.

    You Will

    Serve as the point of contact for key customers and manage the key account planning
    Develop, implement and steer action plans to guide the activities with the key customers
    Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing and negotiating solutions that meet their needs
    Identify growth opportunities which will turn into long-lasting relationships

    In collaboration with stakeholders, define and communicate monthly expected activities for members of the Sales Team visiting key account point of sales.

    Steer the business and ensure the best solution is delivered to customers in a timely manner
    Prepare regular customer analysis to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics/processes

    You should also have:
    Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
    MBA (a plus)
    5 years or less experience
    Key demonstrated skills to include Account Management, Negotiation/Influencing, Customer Relationship Management
    Experience with Salesforce "Engage" (a plus)
    If just graduating, experiences which show relationship management, negotiating/influencing skills, and adaptability
