As part of the R&D Process Development team, the Process R&D Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering process technology innovations to meet our sustainability and profitability goals.
This individual will lead and support scouting, scale-up and commercialization of new processes and new technologies driving product development, operational excellence, and sustainability goals.
Working with internal and external partners, s/he will help build the innovation pipeline and develop next generation products and processes to drive profitable growth.
This position is a hands-on individual contributor, who will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to drive R&D programs working closely with new product development scientists, business representatives, process services engineers and operations teams.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for contributing to the culture and growth of the organization through mentorship and strategic input to the organizational design.
Essential Duties:
+ Lead process technology development projects from scouting to scale-up to commercialization + Support new product development through process development and scale up + Work collaborative across all functions to drive progress. + Design and perform experiments + Lead trials externally and internally + Identify opportunities and gaps in existing manufacturing processes and generate ideas to enhance the portfolio of enabling technologies + Develop project proposals and present to leadership for approval to obtain resources (internal, external, equipment, plant trial time, etc.) to drive progress and success for development programs + Document and communicate learnings and best practices to internal and external partners + Support safe operating practices + Drive day-to-day execution of prog To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
