- Provide customized instruction to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Implement evidence-based instructional methods and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with support staff and related service providers
- Maintain accurate student data and progress monitoring
- Attend IEP meetings, though case management will be supported by administrators
- Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
- Training/experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with students with significant needs

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening for the remainder of the school year. This is a 221-day position running from the hire date through the end of June.
This is a first-time contracting opportunity ideal for an educator looking to gain experience with close oversight and guidance from administrators. In this role, you will be the lead special education teacher responsible for up to 6 students in a moderate to severe special education setting. The primary disabilities served include autism spectrum disorders and emotional/behavioral needs.
