    Our client is a law firm that handles all types of property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters.

    They have an immediately need an experienced Personal Injury Attorney with 1-3 + years of PI experience to join our dynamic and growing firm


    The firm is growing, and we're looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries.

    You'll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals.

    You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 1-3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people.

    Responsibilities:


    • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
    • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
    • Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
    • Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
    • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
    • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate
    • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
    • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
    • Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary

    Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment

    Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff and team members

    Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation skills to represent client and company interests in litigation situations

    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

    Experience & Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
    • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
    • 1-3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
    • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
    • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
    • Must be computer proficient
