ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for auditing and quality control of issued keys, security badges and the badging process, as well as, for the keying of locks cores and the cutting and issuing of keys for the Terminal and other City owned buildings.
Responsible for administering the Security and Identification Program at Corpus Christi International Airport by issuing, activating and reactivating a variety of security access for controlled areas to include capturing biometric identifiers.
Ensure security sensitive and confidential data is accurate and in compliance with Federal regulations. Oversee security training and maintains records for audits.Responsible for the compliance of current Department of Homeland Security-Transportation Security Administration Security Directives and the Airport Security Program (ASP).
Responsible for the keying of lock cores for security access doors and the issuance and accountability of keys. Responsible for the payroll process for the Public Safety Division. Designated as the responsible person for record retention and archiving for Public Safety. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Position requires an Associate's Degree with minimum of two (2) yearsof experience; or, any combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered.
Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.

Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi.
