    Position description



    We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated individual who has excellent management, organization, communication, intervention, and research skills, and understands cancer survivorship. This person will: 1) contribute to efforts in the recruitment and enrollment of research participants; 2) work closely with the principal investigator to administer research assessments and facilitate biological specimen collection and transport; 3) maintain project documentation and reporting; 4) deliver behavioral interventions to research participants; and 5) assist in grant writing and research dissemination.

    This position is grant funded. Position is renewable, contingent on satisfactory performance and funding availability. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.     Qualifications



    Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

    Requirements:

    1) Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or other related field in the behavioral sciences (PhD degree preferred)

    2) Knowledge and skills related to research project management, research methods, data collection, behavioral or psychotherapeutic interventions, and proposal and manuscript writing

    3) Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

    4) Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

    5) Strong teamwork skills. Prior experience in cancer survivorship research is a plus. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred.
