- Pay range - $25 - $31 per hour.

- Shift Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Medical Staff Administration:
- Facilitate meetings (develop agendas, maintain meeting minutes, coordinate follow-up) for the following committees:
- Coordinate the work of the Leadership Council in matters related to practitioner health and professional conduct, and support functions for continued monitoring.
- Coordinate other facility committees as assigned (e.g., facility bioethics committee functions, ethics consultation requests).
- Maintain the official emergency call schedule and records for call compensation payments.
- Medical Staff Education:
- Facilitate orientation for new medical staff members (and in partnership with other key stakeholders including the Director of Advanced Clinical and IT&S personnel).
- Facilitate orientation for new officers, committee members, and the governing body.
- Facility-based Credentialing Tasks:
- Apply the credentials evaluation process uniformly to all RFC/applications and R-RFC/re-applications to ensure compliance with internal credentialing procedures.
- Process each RFC/application and R-RFC/re-application received from the CPC that has a flag by CPC-32 and MSS-002 policy.
- Verify applicant identity by MSS-004
- Privileging:
- Facilitate the development of eligibility criteria for each clinical privilege or grouping of clinical privileges that require the same qualifications and competencies.
- Facilitate the review of requests for clinical privileges using the approved eligibility criteria.
- Assess the applicability and appropriateness of clinical privileges for each specialty through periodic review.
- Performance Improvement/Peer Review:
- Coordinate with the facilitys quality department to facilitate focused professional practice evaluation (FPPE), and any related evaluation after FPPE or a period of provisional status.
- HCA System Coordination and Collaboration:
- Be familiar with CPC policies as they impact the facilitys MSSD.
- Read and act on announcements and alerts from the CPC.
- Education: Associate degree preferred
- Experience: At least one (1) year of previous credentialing and Meeting management experience
- Skills: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM), Health care assistants (HCAs) Background
