The Driver/Mental Health Tech will be required to:

• Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well being of each person served.
• Transport to and from therapy, activities, assisting with ADL's, meals, assisting with patient hygiene, room cleanliness and other patient care activities as assigned.
• Monitor therapy groups under the direct supervision of Licensed/Certified professionals.
• Contribute to patient records by collecting and documenting data relative to patient.
• Perform a variety of clinical and patient care duties under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Perform routine patient care and related duties, including laundry of patients clothing and cleaning of equipment.
• Provide patient transportation – position requires local, rural and highway driving
• Accurately complete transportation documents/checklists.
• Assists patient in and out of vehicle.
• Promotes and practices patient safety, infection control and proper body mechanics.
• Maintains vehicle safety and maintenance-maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming vehicle.

Experience: CNA or Direct Service Worker experience preferred

Must have;

A valid drivers license

Clear MVR record

25 years of age or older

Must be able to perform physical demands and essential functions of the position.
