The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in shaping our manufacturing processes driving efficiency enhancing product quality and contributing to our overall success in the manufacture of high-precision products.Responsibilities
Reviews product designs for manufacturability proper tolerances quality requirements and cost drivers Defines the manufacturing process required to produce components and assemblies Determines fixture and gauge requirements for new components and designs or procures necessary items Creates manufacturing process routes and bills of material in the ERP system Reviews Engineering Change Orders and updates process documentation as necessary Collaborates with other manufacturing engineers design engineers quality control personnel supervisors machine operators maximize shop-floor productivity product quality Participates root-cause analysis corrective action of quality discrepanciesJob description
