- Monitoring academic progress
- Distribution of athletic financial aid
- Game and practice preparation and management
- Community and alumni relations
- Community service initiatives
- Physical conditioning guidance for student-athletes
- Budget management
- Making travel arrangements
- Administrative duties completion including required paperwork
- Fundraising activities
- Overseeing coaching staff
- Compliance with NCAA, GMAC, and university regulations and policies
- Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in NCAA rules and regulations
- Previous coaching experience
- Field a competitive team striving for GMAC championships and post-season play
- Meet required roster size numbers
- Recruit student-athletes excelling academically, athletically, and with strong character
- Monitor academic success of team members
- Engage team in community service
- Represent Northwood University professionally on-campus and in the community
- Promote leadership skills and provide opportunities for team members
- Operate the program with integrity and comply with NCAA, GMAC, and university rules
- Pursue continuous improvement through evaluation of all processes in the athletic program
- Blend general education and business-specific offerings with life experiences in the athletic arena for a well-rounded student-athlete experience
