    Description
    Travel ICU RN is needed to start ASAP for 12 weeks in a hospital in Iowa. Current IA RN license is required. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Monday-Friday days plus call. 40 hours per week. ICU RN candidates must have at least 2 years of recent ICU experience. Must also have BLS, ACLS, PALS DACA and prefers to have TNCC, CCRN would be a bonus. Along with an Active IA or Compact RN license. Must be able to manage a wide variety of critically ill patients (from septic to post-surgical to cardiac). Candidate must be able manage patients on ventilators and BiPap. Candidate must be familiar with invasive pressure monitoring protocols. Candidate must be competent with cardiac rhythm identification and interpretation. Must be able to multi-task. We care for all age groups from pediatric patients to the elderly. Must possess certification in ACLS and PALS, and be able to initiate these protocols independently. Candidate must be familiar with a multitude of drips and medications commonly used in the ICU setting.

    All documentation is entered into the Electronic Health Record, candidate must be able to adapt to Spencer Hospital policies, protocols, and documentation requirements.
