Description

Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Driver to use the facility van to transport patients and residents to appointments.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Maintain the safety and well-being of themselves, their passengers, and all other people on the road.

· Transport residents to appointments.

· Stay with residents at appointments.

· Make and modify appointments as needed.

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle.

· Fuel van as needed.

· Monitor vehicle for maintenance.

· Other duties as assigned.

Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma of General Education Degree (GED)
• 5+ years' experience as a licensed driver
• Minimum 25 years of age
• Ability to lift and guide wheelchair passengers onto the wheelchair lift and properly secure them.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and a physical lifting of 50 lbs.
