Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities:
Serves as a project engineer on projects.
Structural design of buildings and Industrial structures
Coordinates with other disciplines
Delegates work to other staff members, mentors other staff members.
Responsible for schedules and timely completion of specific tasks within assigned projects.
Attends client meetings - days or nights.
Interprets building code requirements and applies appropriate concepts to design.
Coordinates and assists with pricing, estimating, and scoping for specific tasks within proposed projects.
Develops probable construction cost estimates for specific tasks within assigned projects.
Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects.
Responsible for control of work-in-process
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Responsible to the project manager and/or project team for quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
Visits project site to monitor progress and handles routine construction administration.
May serve as onsite representative.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or a minimum of 10 years of experience (or equivalent).
Working Knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCad
Master's degree preferred.
Valid Driver's License
Licensed professional engineer (PE) desired.
