    Job Summary:


    Interstate Battery Hudson Valley is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver.

    This full-time position is based in Kingston, New York and is an individual contributor role.

    As a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of automotive and commercial batteries to our customers while also managing warehouse tasks and ensuring inventory accuracy.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This position offers a competitive salary of $700 , paid weekly. In addition to salary, the benefits package includes paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our company.


    Responsibilities:

    • Safely and efficiently deliver automotive and commercial batteries to our customers in a timely manner
    • Operate delivery vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
    • Load and unload batteries, stacking and organizing them in the warehouse for efficient storage
    • Conduct inventory checks to ensure accuracy and communicate any discrepancies to management
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
    • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training as needed
    • Collaborate with team members and management to ensure excellent customer service

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
    • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
