    What You'll Do:
    We're seeking an Data Center Engineerto join ourEngineeringteam inVirginia.

    Our

    team follows a

    n onsite

    schedule working in-office

    five

    days a week.

    Each day can be different here at

    , but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are:

    Ticketing System Management:

    Work within a ticketing system to support server, storage, and network infrastructure, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.


    Network System Maintenance:
    Install, configure, and update network systems and hardware, ensuring optimal performance and security.

    Infrastructure Troubleshooting:

    Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of infrastructure assets e/g Dell, Supermicro, HP, Arista, Juniper, Netapp, VMWare, Pure Storage, and other network and production assets, operating system issues and perform on-prem break-fix activities, power cycles, troubleshoot failed components, RMA, and shipping and receiving.


    Infrastructure Automation:
    Strive to automate procedural tasks using scripting or coding. Build and maintain operations software which automates the configuration, provisioning, deployment and monitoring of our core systems

    Capacity Enhancement:

    Assist in projects aimed at adding new capacity and retrofitting within the data center to accommodate organizational growth and technological advancements.


    Inventory and Asset Management:
    Assist with the management of inventory and assets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

    Network Monitoring:
    Embrace our cutting-edge tools to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high availability and reliability.

    Collaboration:
    Establish strong working relationships with various internal teams and external partners.

    Hardware Testing:
    Test new network connections and hardware additions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

    On-call Participation: Participate in an on-call rotation, providing timely responses and resolutions to critical issues.

    Continuous Learning:
    Possess a strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills.

    Equipment Handling:
    Physically assist in moving and installing equipment while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

    What will I bring?

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

    5+ years of experience in data center environments performing critical infrastructure support and network administration.

    Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

    Strong knowledge of network systems, storage solutions, and server infrastructure.

    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    A strong "can-do" attitude and eagerness to take on challenges.

    Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

    In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in Virginia is $120,000 - $150,000 at the time of posting.

    While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.

    Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
