Job Summary
Design and develop SharePoint websites using SharePoint designer or web UI developing tools.
Years of experience needed –
A SharePoint developer should have minimum 6 to 8 years' experience in SharePoint development.
Technical Skills
Using SharePoint Designer tool to create and modify site content, features, and webpages.
Configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to project specifications
Building scalable web applications, writing, and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff
Collaborating with web design team to review web and application development needs and set project goals.
To ensure success as a SharePoint developer, have good knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software.
Proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues.
Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
Setting tasks and development goals.
Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
Testing and debugging code.
Reviewing and troubleshooting website interface and software stability.
Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
Certifications Needed
Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
MOSS or WSS knowledge / certification.
Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
Ability to solve complex software issues.
Self-motivated.
Knowledge on Project delivery lifecycles and methods
