Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Event Management and Executive Administration SME in the US Space Forces Space Commanders Action Group (CAG) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CaliforniaThe role provides support to US Space Forces Space (S4S) in all aspects of executive support for the Commander S4S through the CAG
This is a challenging position requiring the capability to work effectively with the most senior leaders in S4S, command staff, and across S4S divisions
Applicants who do not possess a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility will not be considered
What you will be doing:
Providing technical support for CAG Strategic Design activities including documents, briefings, presentations, papers and scripts
Creating abstracts, initial drafts, final drafts and final materials for strategic intent documents, strategic-level plans and messages, and mission, vision, and priority statements, and updating these documents when directed
Creating a strategic-level communications plan outlining themes, messages, and soundbites for use by the Commander in public speaking engagements, articles for publication, and other outreach vehicles for presentation to military, civic, academic, and governmental audiences, and creating/updating relevant documents supporting strategic messaging when directed
Participating in the Strategic Engagement Board, and providing recommendations for Commander speaking engagements, symposia, and other public engagement events
Crafting informal remarks for the Commander using the traditional 'blue card' format as well as scripts for recorded and virtual messages to S4S members
Conducting research and analysis of topics in public speaking engagements in accordance with the approved strategic communications plan
Providing facilitation of pre-event planning, on-site coordination, preparation of presentation materials, and post-event activities for designated Government and interagency conferences, symposia, workshops, Distinguished Visitor (DV) visits, and other forums and speaking engagements to support CJTF-SO strategic messaging and engagement
This includes preparing supporting materials for attendees and creating event books
What you will need:
Deep experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content for a Commander's Action Group or similar
Demonstrated capability initiating, supervising, and developing requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely-complex programs; providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and build enduring relationships with a wide span of military and civilian ranks and positions across multiple organizations
The specific skills, knowledge, and comprehension to perform all task functions quickly and accurately without supervision or assistance
Proficiency with Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Suite, and Apple Mac hardware platforms desired as well as MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
BA/BS or MA/MS desired
Current Top Secret/SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required Delta Solutions & Strategies offers a generous benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves
In compliance with California's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $140,000-$160,000
