    Description

    The position performs advanced secretarial and management assistant assignments for the Materials Management Division (MMD), Energy and Recycling Section (ERS).

    Serves as liaison between the ERS Manager and ERS staff by interpreting policies and procedures, representing the Manager's point of view, and preparing materials for managerial decisions.

    Publication and document administrator for form, style, grammar, and overall quality.

    Provides administrative support to the division's Sustainability programs including, but not limited to:
    Pollution Prevention (P2), Recycling, and Energy. Tracks assignments made by the ERS Manager and Assistant Division Director. Creates and maintains filing systems and databases to support programs. Acts as the electronic records management liaison for the ERS. This position also serves as the content editor and web coordinator for the ERS program websites and publications. Creates and maintains the ERS's communication plan, along with tracking progress in supporting materials development.

    Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.

    Experience

    Secretary 9


    Four years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including one year equivalent to advanced 8-level administrative support work, or equivalent to a Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8.

    OR


    Four years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including two years equivalent to experienced E7-level administrative support work, or equivalent to a Secretary 7, or Legal Secretary 7.
