    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    TITLE: Sales/Business Development Manager

    Classification: Exempt

    Department: Sales

    Reports to: VP of Operations

    Summary/Objective: This role significantly contributes to business growth by fostering new sales leads to expand our customer base and by improving existing sales accounts.

    The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the organization's product distribution channels and providing ongoing support. The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, writing, updating, and coordinating the production of the RFQ's which includes but are not limited to:

    Essential Functions:

    • Plan and attend sales exhibits and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
    • Monitor sales team's performance to ensure goals and sales targets are met.
    • Train and mentor, the sales team to improve performance, skills, and profitability.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
    • Negotiate prices and contracts with clients and suppliers/distributors.
    • Stay abreast by conducting market research to keep up with industry trends, market conditions and competition.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
    • Works closely with Reps to ensure follow up on quotes within their territory.
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive quotes and proposals.
    • Maintain relationships with other teams to include engineering, production, and quality assurance to ensure exceptional products, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage all details of the RFQ process and workflow. Write and edit RFQ responses for accuracy.
    • Provide technical guidance on RFQ procedures and maintain library of RFQ documentation and update as needed.
    • Manager projects for the Engineering Department and R & D Department.
    • Proficiency in adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compiling comprehensive sales reports and forecasts.
    • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, monitor, and distribute incoming faxes.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
    • A proven track record of successful sales management in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.
    • Experience with Salesforce and other manufacturing software.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of machining and assembly processes.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • 5 years' experience in sales and marketing field.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position manages all employees of the sales department and is responsible for the performance of the sales department. Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, monitor, and distribute incoming faxes.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    This job does not require PPE in our office environment. If there is a requirement to enter the Production Area, use of safety glasses and steel toe shoes are required.

    Work Environment:

    This work is performed in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Pay: $54, $70,000.00 per year
