TheDirector, Clinical Operations establishes, implements, and evaluatesgoals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote thestandards of quality and contribute to the total organization andphilosophy.

Medical and dentalbenefits Short- and long-term disability Life insurance Paid time off401(k) program Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employee AssistanceProgram (EAP) Vendor discounts Responsibilities Coordinates and overseesall direct and indirect patient services provided by clinicalorganization personnel Provides guidance and counseling to coordinatorsand Clinical Supervisors to assist them in continually improving allaspects of hospice care services, provided through organizationpersonnel Assists Clinical Supervisors in managing clinical teams andplanning In the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator, theDirector, Clinical Operations will become the acting ExecutiveDirector/Administrator and will be vested with authority to act inbehalf of the Executive Director/Administrator Provides help inassessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient andfamily/caregiver care to all clinical personnel as indicated Assists theExecutive Director/Administrator in the preparation and administrationof the organization\'s budget Interprets operational indicators todetect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that couldimpact staffing levels, revenues or expenses Evaluates performance ofClinical Supervisors Assists Clinical Supervisors to develop skills andtechniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians Hires, evaluates,and terminates organization personnel Conducts annual evaluations onclinicians, or more frequently if indicated Oversees the maintenance ofpatient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposesof evaluation and reporting of organization activities Assures propermaintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state andfederal laws Responsible for the maintenance of adequate and appropriateinventory supplies and equipment for the..
