- Female Direct Care staff to provide personal care support and assistance to individuals with spina bifida and related disabilities in the client's home. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting our clients with various activities of daily living as well as helping clients reach independent goals.
- Responsibilities could also include socialization, transfers, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, hygiene, enemas and catheter care.
- We will ensure that your comfort and skill level complement both young ladies in the home for their care plan.
- We offer flexible training and support through your whole cycle of employment with Learnability.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license/clean driving record
- Ability to lift, use a hoyer and assist with all aspects of each individual's daily routines
- Successfully pass clearances - MN State Police Criminal Background Check and driving history (less than 3 violations in 3 years)
- Ability to treat clients with respect and dignity
- Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to follow a client's service plan
- Possess basic cooking and housekeeping skills
- Able to lift 50+ and utilize a hoyer if needed
- Driver's License (Required)

Learnability has an opening for 10:00pm to 9:00am Monday through Thursday asleep overnight shift
The right candidate will have an upbeat, caring, and positive attitude. A CNA certificate and experience with adults with disabilities is highly desired. We provide paid training and growth in our organization Company vehicles are available at the site for both individuals during community outings and their day program.
