    Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows and ASHA-certified clinician) who want to live and work in the greater Houston area Soliant is working with a school near Dickinson,TX, and we are seeking contract applicants for the next school year.

    Caseload assignments will be made in collaboration with the lead SLP--applicants with specific preferences are wele to municate this information with their recruiter, and to discuss caseload assignments in greater detail during the interview.

    Duties include:

    • Assessing students forpossible speech and language needs.
    • Providingindividual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
    • Developing individualized education plans and presenting them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
    • Consulting with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
    • Maintaining accurate records for all students on the caseload.
    • Providingreports of a students progress to parents.
    • Organizingstudent caseload and developing a schedule for each assigned school.
    • Developing resource materials for use in speech and language development.

    • Up-to-date knowledge of TexasSpecial Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
    • Professionalism and accountability

    Requirements:

    • Texas SLP license
