- Develop in-depth product and disease state knowledge and engage healthcare professionals effectively to discuss clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles for on-label prescribing.
- Demonstrate sales proficiency to independently drive sales performance and exceed sales forecasts and assigned budgets.
- Complete training requirements, including product examinations, successfully.
- Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of market, demographic, and managed care information specific to the assigned sales territory.
- Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to devise a local strategy and business plan for boosting sales in the territory.
- Utilize a variety of promotional resources, personnel, and analytical tools to implement Strategic Targeting Plans effectively and capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities in the assigned sales territory.
- Offer specialized education to healthcare providers through compliant programs aligning with AstraZeneca's ethical standards.
- Coordinate selling efforts with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists towards common objectives.
