      The Director of Indirect Procurement role is a new and exciting role which will lead the strategic vision of KeHEs indirect spend activities. Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain, the successful candidate for this role will be responsible for creating and leading a team to bring the strategic vision to fruition. This includes the procurement of goods, services, and solutions that support all company functions. They will also oversee management and maintain a high level of cost efficiency and competitiveness.       DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Develop and execute innovative strategies for indirect procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
      • Oversee the coordination and management of supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and vendor scorecard development.
      • Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to automate routine tasks and facilitate data driven decision making.
      • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and supplier consolidation to drive efficiency and value.
      • Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
      • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement of indirect goods and services, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance.
      • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments, including Finance, Operations, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Legal, to understand business requirements and priorities.
      • Drive cross-functional initiatives and projects to achieve shared goals and maximize synergies across the organization.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.
      SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
      • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships.
      • Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends and regulatory requirements.
      • Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
      • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
      Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
      • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field required; MBA preferred
      • 15+ years of increasing responsibility and team leadership experience in strategic sourcing
      • Proven track record of successful leadership in indirect procurement, preferably in the food distribution or related industry
