Assistant Softball Coach (9 month appointment): The position of Assistant Softball Coach will hold a 50% appointment in the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse Department of Intercollegiate Athletics ("the Department") and will report directly to UWL's Head Softball Coach.
The Assistant Coach will assist in the management of daily operations of a Division III intercollegiate softball program competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, and administering of the softball program to meet University and Department objectives.
They will also be responsible for various administrative tasks associated with running an intercollegiate softball program, potentially including, but not limited to, the planning of team travel; managing equipment and/or video and technology needs; and coordinating fundraising and camps.
The Assistant Coach must display professional conduct and sportsmanship to bring credit upon the University, the Department, the UWL softball program and UWL student athletes.
Facilities & Events Coordinator (10 month appointment): The Facilities & Events Coordinator will hold a 50% appointment on a 10 month basis and is an essential member of the Athletics department staff as they will administer all aspects of home events and special departmental events in addition to assist in the managing of the Athletic Facilities.
This position requires that the Facilities & Events Coordinator effectively communicate with all staff members to create the highest quality home event environment for the 21 intercollegiate teams including all post-season events.
