    A challenging opportunity exists within our Operations team for an internship with focus on supply chain management.

    Job Summary:
    The Supply Chain Intern will be a key member supporting the Supply Base Management group. The role will support all Supply Base Commodities and Teradyne product lines worldwide.

    • This role is based out of North Reading, MA and requires on-site presence.
    • This role has flexibility in start/end dates. Ideally 3-6 month duration.
    Essential Functions/​Responsibilities

    • Perform analysis and make associated recommendations in support of Supply Base Management goals in the areas of cost management, business continuity planning, risk protection, etc.
    • Create and publish a quarterly dashboard that tracks key high-level indicators such as, economic indicators, commodity indicators, spend, and supplier performance
    • Project management for selected supply base projects as needed
    Requirements

    • Working on a BA/BS degree with Business / Operations focus, additional APICS or ISM certification desired, MBA a plus 2-5 years of Sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Working Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
    • Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Strong communication skills.
