    We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience for a travel assignment in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include using the ultrasound machine to produce accurate images, preparing patients for testing, and reporting abnormalities to medical staff.

    • Educate patients and/or family regarding procedures performed
    • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
    • Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies
    • Report abnormalities to medical staff
    • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
    • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results
    • Maintain accurate patient records
    • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

    Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. US Techs should be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty and have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
