- Participate in various month-end closing duties, including preparation of journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations and financial reports, and analysis of variance accounts.
- Perform financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Work closely with various departments, such as Materials, Engineering, Operations, and Master Data to ensure accurate costs and prices.
- Ensure new product standard costs are developed timely and accurately.
- Participate in team-oriented projects to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Participate in implementing additional SAP functionality.
- Assist in the facilitation of control activities related to inventory accuracy, including statistical inventory audits.
- Assist in day to day pricing activities, including price generation and margin updates.
- Assist in the semi-annual cost review.
- Participate in year-end closing activities.
- Special projects as assigned.

- Ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines.
- BS/BA Accounting degree required.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
- CPA or MBA preferred.

Requisition Summary
The Sr. Cost Accountant position will provide the ideal candidate the opportunity to work in a growing and dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to professional growth and advancement.
