Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
Manage and supervise daily operational activities, responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities may include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employee's performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
Organizing the budget of the company in collaboration with the director.Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others.
Responsibilities:
Total knowledge of the company services and productsSelect, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employeesAssist with recruiting efforts by interviewing applicants to opening positionsResponsible all aspect of the execution and delivery of company services ancustomers, while keeping the minimum quality standard stablished by the company.
Responsible for employee's satisfaction and retention.Responsible for job revenue and profitabilityPlan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and proceduresContribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems, and assist to perform internal auditsComply with assigned budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actionsImplement, and enforce policies and procedures; comply with processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shippingAnalyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changesMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsResolve employee concerns and collaborate with Project/Operations Manager and Human Resources on escalating employee issuesUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and trainingsMeet or exceed operations labor budget expectationsManage staff levels, wages, hours, and contract laborPerform building walk-through and quality control inspections.
Run a safe, injury/accident free workplaceDocument and report any injury/accidents to immediately supervisor, and Human Resources DepartmentCommunicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaintsWork closely with Project/Operations Manager and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementationCommunicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetingsWork closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expensesCommunicate with safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulationsAttend project status meetings with Operations Manager and Management as neededMinimum Education and Experience:2 years prior experience in the same capacity preferred but not requiredSolid self-organizational skills.
