    An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Financial Systems Manager -Project Hire assisting the Reservation Systems within the Disney Parks, Experiences and Product Segment supporting the upgrade of our current Dining Reservation System, specifically with accounting and product set-up functionality.     What You Will Do

    This role's key focus will be to support the replacement of the dining reservation system along with focusing on the accounting and product set-up processes. Also, responsibilities will include, but not limited to working with the business strategy, governance, and end users. Support specific project/efforts related to finance systems, including requirements gathering, process improvements and close alignment with the Technology teams.

    You will also participate in the testing and implementation of the dining system, defect and issue resolution and other system changes all while ensuring financial policies and standards are followed for the Enterprise and Segment. This role will also require reporting of the project status to the senior leadership and supervision of one team member.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years work experience with financial or accounting teams working for a large company
  • 3+ years in financial systems and business processes, including experience with T-accounts, reconciliations, and process flows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to succinctly convey relevant information across multiple levels of the organization that develops relationship building and collaboration
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to enable work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently under moderate direction and supervision on assigned priorities and projects
  • Understands business processes and is able to develop and assist in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions
  • Strong analytical and system design skills, problem recognition, problem solving and a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion while providing a positive experience for customers
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP or other large ERP system
  • Experience implementing financial processes and systems along with developing the associated end user training
  • Experience using systems to manage issues, changes, and testing (e.g. Service Now, Confluence, ALM, QTEST
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
