    Description:
    The Services Coordinator coordinates and provides services to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities through case management and coordination of services.

    Service coordination includes identifying, assessing, collaborating, and monitoring the delivery of services and support required by persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families to ensure health and safety, personal choice, and community inclusion as outlined in OAR , , and This position will focus on working with individuals and families and supporting people who speak or read Spanish.

    Services are provided in and out of the office environment. This position relies heavily on timelines, written service plans, and the ability to multitask.

    Able to travel to locations within Umatilla County.

    Able to travel to attend meetings, trainings and conference within and outside of the State of Oregon


    Must participate in 20 hours per year of State of Oregon sponsored training or other training in the areas of intellectual or developmental disabilities.

    Must demonstrate ability to act on personal initiative using sound judgment.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SERVICE COORDINATOR POSITION
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Must have knowledge of the public service system for developmental disabilities services in Oregon and at least:

    A bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science or a closely related field; or

    A bachelor's degree in any field and one year of human services related experience, such as work providing assisting individuals and groups with issues such as economic disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies or housing; or

    An associate degree in behavior science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services-related experience, such as work assisting individuals and groups with issues such as economic disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies or housing; or


    Three years of experience working individuals/families identified as intellectually or developmentally disabled or an agency/provider who provides services directly to IDD individuals.

    And

    Professional working proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.

    Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

    Ability to pass local and state background checks.

    A valid Driver's License.
