- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Louisiana
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

Description:
As a full-time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist/Educator, 50% of your time will be spent as a staff pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
The other 50% of your time will be spent providing education to the pharmacists and technicians along with providing education to other hospital departments as needed regarding medication related topics.
Schedule:
This position is scheduled to work 50% as a staff pharmacist and 50% as a educator 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, day or evening rotating shifts, will work weekends and holidays rotating schedule as needed.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the region's largest family-centered medical complex, serving the healthcare needs of Southwest Louisiana.
Memorial consists of a 391-bed acute-care hospital, with a 324-bed facility at the main campus on Oak Park Boulevard; Memorial Hospital for Women, a 38-bed women's facility at Gauthier and Nelson Roads; and a 29-bed long-term acute-care facility.
The hospital is fully licensed by Joint Commission. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.About the Pharmacy:
