    We have an exciting opportunity for an Integration Engineer in our Ground Control Station (GCS) group located in Poway, CA. This position will support sustainment and new development efforts for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS).

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under general supervision, this position will lead hardware and software design improvements for the UGCS that will result in Army-wide asset modifications and retrofitting efforts.
    • Obtain in-depth subject matter expert (SME) knowledge of all UGCS technical areas to include but not limited to Command and Control, Mission Planning, and Product Dissemination.
    • Supports operation of engineering systems by evaluating and interpreting needs and problems and develops effective approaches to resolving those issues.
    • Develop software installation procedures, test procedures, and configuration procedures.
    • Work closely with the functional teams to ensure development meets design requirements.
    • Working closely with the Engineering Field Services (EFS) group, this position will lead investigations of reported field issues and oversee various groups supporting the investigations with the goal of determining root cause and corrective actions for these issues.
    • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

    Job Qualifications:

    • This position typically requires a bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, two or more years of experience with a master's degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
    • Must have a complete understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory in their respective field; experience demonstrating a broad application of those concepts.
    • Must have good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one engineering area.
    • Must be able to work extended hours and/or travel if required to complete the assigned task.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance is required.
