    Purpose and Job Summary

    ORIX USA is seeking a data integration developer to deliver integration and reporting solutions. The candidate will be focused on automating integrations between various business systems including Portfolio Management, data services, and data warehouse systems. The candidate should be able to build a comprehensive knowledge of the data domain and database architecture and implementation for the investment management group and back office groups. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring integration jobs and troubleshooting issues. The candidate will on occasion need to be available to provide after-hours support for critical processes to ensure proper functioning and correct results. The candidate should be eager to learn and provide solutions and support to improve systems and processes.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Act as primary owner of all assigned project work
    • Gain an in-depth understanding of ORIX's business systems and processes in order to be able to provide long-lasting solutions and support
    • Develop, optimize, and support ETL jobs following appropriate standards and conventions
    • Establish estimates for development projects and support tasks
    • Troubleshoot existing processes / jobs and perform root cause analysis
    • Operate effectively in a team-oriented development environment
    • Perform unit and integration tests of work prior to delivery for business testing

    This position has frequent contact with lower and middle levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.

    Education, Skills & Experience

    Required
    • Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year university in information systems or related field
    • Strong capability with T-SQL manipulation, querying, and performance optimization
    • Experience integrating with both SOAP and REST-based Web services
    • Deadline driven with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to learn quickly and independently
    • Ability to be productive working remotely
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
    Preferred
    • Capability with Azure-based data technologies (ADLF, LogicApps, Python, Synapse, Databricks, ...)
    • Capability with real-time data streaming technologies is a plus
    • Experience with portfolio management and servicing systems such as Wall Street Office (WS0)
    • Experience with data services such as MarkIt Load Reference Data, S&P Xpressfeed, and Intex
